On the one hand, it is good to be reminded that God is at work in his church, especially during this season when things are so different and it may not seem like things are happening. On the other hand, it is possible for a church and a Christian to become complacent, to not give sustained attention to their spiritual growth and sanctification. We need to be reminded of the areas where we can grow. Let us, therefore, consider together, the state of our church.
