Romans 4:13-25

Paul continues to demonstrate the priority of faith in God’s dealings with his people. However, Paul also takes a moment to focus on the quality of Abraham’s faith, on how God strengthened Abraham’s faith in the face of impossible and apparently hopeless situations. And so this passage will continue to instruct us on why “the righteous by faith will live” (Rom 1:17) and how the righteous “walk by faith and not by sight” (2 Cor 5:7). Let’s consider how God rewards and strengthens our faith.
