Romans 1:16-17

As we begin to make our way into the heart of this letter, we start by considering our confidence in the gospel. What are we trusting in as we go about our lives day by day? What do you trust for your salvation? How confident are you that things are right between you and God? What do you trust for your acceptance by others? How confident are you in your identity in Christ? And what do you trust for the well-being of the church? How confident are you in the power of the gospel for Christian ministry? Let’s tackle these questions by considering from vv. 16–17 our confidence in the gospel.
