The Return of Christ
Revelation 17:1-19:21 gives an expanded description of the fall of Babylon and the return of Christ, which were anticipated in the sixth and seventh bowls (16:12–21). The description of Babylon’s fall has occupied 17:1–19:5, and now the scene shifts to the description of another woman and her marriage (19:6–10) and the return of Christ (19:11–21). This message looks at both: the marriage supper of the lamb and the triumphant return of Jesus Christ.
