Matthew 6:19-34

For those who are outside of the kingdom, life consists of the pursuit of possessions, pleasure, honor, luxury, security, etc. For those who are members of the kingdom, life should consist of a pursuit of the qualities that God says should characterize his kingdom citizens (the message of this passage for the church).

For those who are focused on heavenly priorities, what should their attitude be towards material security. How should disciples of Christ/members of God’s kingdom think about material security?
