Tonight we examine the section of the Apostles' Creed that reads, "[Jesus Christ] suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; he descended into hell.” We give special attention to the various meanings of "he descended into hell," and whether it should be included in the Creed.
