2 Corinthians 4:1-12

What constitutes an authentic ministry? What are “the dynamics that mark a ministry as authentic”?[1] Paul has been answering that question since 2:14 and gives us the final part of his answer in the beginning of tonight’s passage.[2] Paul wants to reinforce to the Corinthians that, in light of how the Spirit works through the gospel, his actions towards them have been appropriate.[3] Let’s listen one more time, then, as Paul brings to an apex[4] his presentation of authentic new covenant ministry.
