One of Mark’s overarching reasons for writing this Gospel is to show us what true discipleship looks like, and to compel us to follow Jesus as his disciples. He does show by showing us who Jesus is, God’s powerful Son and Messiah, and the challenges we must embrace is we are going to be his disciples. So, let us consider from this passage today four challenges to believe.
