In this passage we learn that the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to those being saved it is the power of God. In this sermon we see that we must embrace the wisdom of God. Our preaching and witnessing must preserve this foolishness to remain faithful to the gospel. We preach Christ crucified. This proclamation of the gospel brings salvation to the people.
