In this sermon, we see the Apostle Paul's prayer for Israel's salvation. In this prayer we see that Israel was trying to obtain a right standing before God by trying to earn favor from God by trying to keep the law. Though Israel was zealous in their pursuit of self-righteousness, they failed to submit to God's righteousness by trusting God for their salvation.
